Conrad, is located near the east slope of the Rocky Mountain Front (mountain range). Nearby towns include: Great Falls, Brady, Choteau, Cut Bank, Dupuyer, Heart Butte, Ledger and Valier. We are an agriculturally-based community supported by farms and ranches. Several nearby Hutterite colonies are located in the area.

Major community activities include Whoop-Up Trail Days, on the first weekend in June, which features two days of rodeo and parade activities as well as a free pancake breakfast, fun run/walk, co-ed softball. October welcomes the Autumn with the Harvest festival and December celebrates a wonderful Christmas Stroll.

Add to your list a visit at the Veterans Memorial Stone dedicated at the Conrad Cemetery, a proud and solemn reminder of the great sacrifice our war veterans have made.

Our rail line is part of the Great Falls-Shelby connection of the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway and is a major hub for grain transportation.

Charles Marion Russell lived in Cascade County from 1892 until his death in 1926. Russell created more than 2,000 paintings of cowboys, Indians, and landscapes set in the Western United States. The C.M. Russell Museum complex in Great Falls perserves his home and studio and contains a large collection of his work.
