Brownfields Assessment Program

BROWNFIELD In 2015, Sweetgrass Development (Sweetgrass) was awarded a $400,000 Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Brownfields Assessment Grant to complete environmental assessments and cleanup planning on properties contaminated with petroleum and hazardous substances, including asbestos and lead-based paint. This award allows Sweetgrass to assist landowners (public and private) faced with environmental issues

Montana State Revolving Fund Programs

The Montana Legislature established two State Revolving Fund (SRF) Loan Programs - one for water pollution control projects (wastewater and non-point source projects) and the other for drinking water projects.  Both programs provide at or below market interest rate loans to eligible Montana entities.  These programs are funded with capitalization

Charles Marion Russell lived in Cascade County from 1892 until his death in 1926. Russell created more than 2,000 paintings of cowboys, Indians, and landscapes set in the Western United States. The C.M. Russell Museum complex in Great Falls perserves his home and studio and contains a large collection of his work.
